How to Listen

Coming soon to DAB across London

We're not on air yet — we're in the process of applying to Ofcom for our community radio licence. Here's exactly how you'll be able to tune in once we launch.

DAB digital radio

Once licensed, Cross River Radio will broadcast on a local small-scale DAB multiplex serving London — just scan for us on any DAB set.

Online stream

A live web stream is planned alongside our DAB broadcast, so you'll be able to listen from anywhere — not just within range of the transmitter.

Smart speakers & apps

We plan to make Cross River Radio available through standard radio apps and smart speaker skills once we're broadcasting.

About our licence

What is a Community Digital Sound Programme licence?

A C-DSP licence is Ofcom's route for not-for-profit community stations to broadcast on small-scale DAB — the newer, lower-cost digital radio infrastructure designed for exactly this kind of local, mission-led station.

Unlike commercial radio, community licences are awarded based on the social value a station delivers to its area. Ours is built around three things: connecting North and South London, supporting the Thames's recovery, and developing new broadcasting talent.
